Here’s my performance of the Gershwin classic – “They Can’t Take That Away From Me” fingerstyle guitar version.
Here’s a fun George Gershwin story for you… I grew up in Manhattan on 111th street between Broadway and Amsterdam avenue… From 1924-1929 George Gershwin lived on the SAME BLOCK, just around the corner at 501 west 110th street. How crazy is that!
I hope you enjoy this classic tune, be sure to check out the famous Ella Fitzgerald & Louie Armstrong version. And for awesome guitar versions, check out Walter Rodriguez, Joe Pass, Martin Taylor, Ted Greene and Jim Nichols on YouTube!
My Guitar Recording Set Up
