Langer’s journey with Study With Adam (SWA) began on April 24th, 2019. Since then, he has discovered new concepts, ideas, and techniques that have elevated his guitar playing to new heights. He credits SWA for providing direction and structure, helping him build his repertoire, and enabling him to confidently play live. One particular area of growth for Langer has been the exploration of touch and other unique playing styles, which have expanded his musical horizons.
Currently, Langer is focused on improving his fingerstyle arrangements and creating his own unique compositions. His main guitar is a Furch Yellow OM – Sitka Spruce and Indian Rosewood, which perfectly complements his diverse musical interests.
As a fan of blues, rock, and fingerstyle music, Langer has an eclectic taste that is reflected in his choice of favorite guitarists. He admires the likes of Eric Clapton, Tommy Emmanuel, Joe Robinson, and, of course, Adam Rafferty. This blend of influences has helped shape Langer’s own guitar playing, imbuing it with a distinct and captivating style.
Peter Langer’s inspiring journey with SWA serves as a testament to the power of dedication and the pursuit of musical excellence. With a strong foundation and a drive to keep learning and growing, Langer continues to make his mark as an SWA Guitar Legend, showcasing the transformative potential of music that transcends genres and borders.
