In this video, I will show you how to “LEVEL UP” your technique for fingerstyle guitar.
It took me several years to figure this out and come to these conclusions, so you can fast forward, watch a 5-minute lesson and benefit from the digging I’ve done.
Most fingerstyle (and jazz and classical) guitarists play melody notes too quietly… ESPECIALLY when they play a 4-note chord with melody on top, plucking PIMA all at once.
The melody ends up like the quietest voice in “the choir.”
You may not think this applies to you but I challenge you – record yourself and listen to the playback. The results WILL surprise you!
Here are 2 EASY techniques to get that melody up in volume.
I’m dead serious…forget about tricks and playing fast…just apply yourself on getting a good melody volume and you will sound 1000% better.
I hope you find this information helpful…
Groove on!
